Weekend Bolts: Good Until Wemby

The Oklahoma City Thunder were rolling until hosting the leading Rookie of the Year candidate, Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. The 132-118 loss to the Spurs snapped OKC's 6-game win streak and dropped the team to second in the Western Conference standings.

Chet Holmgren has been incredible this season, and if not for Wemby padding stats on a bad Spurs team, Holmgren would likely be running away with the ROY award. But alas, VW will continue to get pub as the ROY leader.

In moderately-shocking news this week, the Thunder released Aleksej Pokusevski. Poku is a former no. 17 overall pick that the team traded-up for in the 2020 NBA draft.

Poku was quickly claimed by Charlotte.
