Thunder Bounce Back, Top Spurs 122-112
The Oklahoma City Thunder (26-16) corrected course on Saturday night in Oklahoma City, snapping a three-game losing streak by beating the San Antonio Spurs (25-19) by a final score of 122-112 at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Russell Westbrook led the way with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. Dennis Schroder added 19 more points off the bench — all in the second half — to help the Thunder overcome a nine-point halftime deficit to come away with the victory.

Westbrook led the Thunder in scoring with his 24 points. He was joined in double-figures by Schroder (19), Paul George (18), Abdel Nader (15), Patrick Patterson (13), Jerami Grant (12), and Steven Adams (12). The Thunder shot 11-of-23 (47.8 percent) from three-point range and dominated San Antonio 27-7 in transition scoring.

Second Half. The Thunder entered the halftime break trailing 60-51, but shot 53 percent in the second half to come away with the victory. The game turned in a pivotal third quarter that OKC won 35-20. Dennis Schroder shot 4-of-5 from the field in the third to spark the comeback.
The Schrodie. Dennis Schroder shot better than 40 percent for the first time in six games, scoring all 19 of his points in the second half to lead the Thunder to victory. He added six assists and four steals.
The Brodie. Westbrook ended his night with 24 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and two steals — shooting 9-of-24 in the process. He hit 1-of-2 from deep and dropped Marco Belinelli with a filthy move in the fourth quarter.
The Bench. Great night for the Thunder reserves. Schroder posted 19 points and sparked the Thunder to victory. Abdel Nader added 15 points in 17 minutes on 6-of-6 shooting. Patrick Patterson enjoyed his highest-scoring effort since November 30 by dropping 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting — including a 3-of-3 effort from deep.
Safe Keeping. The Thunder were very safe with the ball, committing just seven turnovers all night.
The Other Guys. Marco Belinelli led the Spurs with 24 points off the bench. He was joined in double-figures by DeMar DeRozan (18), LaMarcus Aldridge (17), and Bryn Forbes (14). After shooting 16-of-19 from three on Thursday night, the Spurs shot just 10-of-31 from deep in OKC.
