Thunder Acquire First and Second Round Picks for Danny Green, Terrance Ferguson
Adrian Wojnarowski (ESPN) reports that the Thunder are sending recently-acquired Danny Green and Terrance Ferguson to the Philadephia 76ers for the 34th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and a “lightly-protected” 2025 first-round pick. Al Horford and the rights to Serbian point guard Vasilije Micic are also also coming to Oklahoma City in the deal.
Green was just acquired by the Thunder in the trade that sent Dennis Schroder to the Los Angeles Lakers, while Terrance Ferguson has spent the first two years of his career with the Thunder after being drafted #21 overall in 2017.
In Horford, the Thunder take on the final two years of a four year, $109 million contract signed in the 2019 offseason, $69 million of which remains fully guaranteed.
This trade now gives the Thunder 17 first-round picks in the next six NBA drafts, and three picks in the top 34 of tonight’s NBA draft.
