The word of the night: spry. In his first action with the Thunder, Al Horford looked spry (15 points and 7 boards, 2-4 from three), standing out as the best two-way player on the court against a suddenly competent Bulls squad (we see you, Billy D). Horford Spry Watch will be a thing up until (and possibly beyond) the trade deadline this season, as the veteran’s on-court ability to help a contender more than his contract number hurts their cap flexibility could land him in greener pastures and net OKC a shinier trunk of draft assets.

Otherwise, the youthful Thunder yet again looked their age on defense (Zach Lavine and Coby White torched Oklahoma City for a combined 51 points on 65% shooting), with a mixed bag of solid play (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Darius Bazley, Frank Jackson and THEO MALEDON) and, to put it kindly, room for growth (Lu Dort 0-fering, Hamidou Diallo 1-fering).
