Kevin Durant makes a lot of money

According to Forbes’ 2015 list, Kevin Durant is the seventh richest athlete in the whole wide world, and the second richest basketball player behind only LeBron James.

Forbes has Durant pulling in $54.1 million last year, which comes from $19.1 million in salary and $35 million in endorsements.

The six in front of Durant: Floyd Mayweather ($300 million), Manny Pacquiao ($160 million), Cristiano Ronaldo ($79.6 million), Lionel Messi ($73.8 million), Roger Federer ($67 million) and LeBron ($64.8 million).

Durant’s number, though, is only set to go up. He’s in the final year of his deal, and with the rising salary cap, Durant’s next deal could be worth between $25 and $30 million a year. A big part of Durant’s current earning is his 10-yea, $300 million deal with Nike, along with a ton of other endorsements with BBVA, Sprint, Sonic, Sparkling Ice, Orange Leaf, Strong and Kind, 2K Sports, Skullcandy and more and more.

Russell Westbrook also made the list, checking in at No. 79, pulling in $20.3 million with his $15.8 million salary and $4.5 million in endorsements.

Of the top 100, 17 are basketball players.
