The Houston Rockets defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 136-106 at The ‘Peake on Monday night.
This game was over early, as the Rockets exploded for 48 first-quarter points. Houston made 11-of-14 3-point attempts in the opening stanza and finished 28-of-52 (53.8 percent) from deep for the game.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was OKC’s leader once again, scoring 19 points on 15 shots in 29 minutes. Darius Bazley also had a nice night, scoring 15 points.
Aleksej Pokusevski scored two points and added three rebounds and one assist. OKC announced tonight that he’ll head to the G-League bubble in Orlando tomorrow, along with Ty Jerome, Moses Brown and Josh Hall.
Oklahoma City will be back in action again on Wednesday against the Rockets.
